Add the onions and garlic to a pot with olive oil and cook for 3 - 5 minutes.
Add carrots and kale and cook for 3 minutes.
Add lentils and vegetable broth and bring to a boil.
Reduce to a simmer and cook for 50 minutes to 1 hour. Stir often.
Salt and pepper to taste and lemon juice stir and enjoy!
